About The House

On arrival at the property there is ample parking and a pod point for charging electric cars. There is an outside shower (cold water only) in case any sandy items (or people!) need cleaning.

The main house sleeps eight people in four bedrooms: 2 king size double beds and two twin bedded rooms.  A further two people can be accommodated in a separate Annexe within the property’s gardens.  Please note that this can only be booked in addition to a booking for the main house.  Please contact the owner for details if this option is of interest.

The House

The property has a spacious entrance hall leading to a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and further on to a bathroom with walk-in shower.

The kitchen is very much the centre of the house with plenty of space both for cooking (there is a kitchen island and butcher’s block) and eating (there is a dining table suitable for six in the kitchen).  The kitchen is well-equipped and has two large fridge freezers, two electric ovens and a dishwasher.

Stunning Views

There are fabulous views over open countryside from the kitchen, highlighted by the floor to ceiling glass windows and doors.  Double glass doors open out to a large, decked area with outside dining table for eight (can take more with the addition of some extra chairs), a barbeque and a hot tub.  On a separate patio area to the side of the house is a full-size table tennis table.

Dining

One passage from the kitchen leads to the dining room with a table and chairs suitable for eight people (could take ten with a squeeze!), and the ‘snug’, a reception room with TV.

A further passage from the kitchen leads through a study with desk (in case any work may be required whilst on holiday) to the main reception room and adjoining conservatory. 

The main reception room has ample seating and extends through to a light filled conservatory overlooking the rear garden.  Doors from the conservatory open out to the garden.  The reception room has a TV with Sky (including cinema and sport), and a wood burner.

Upstairs

Bedroom one has a king size double bed, an ensuite bathroom with walk in shower, and fabulous views over the fields, the canal and Bude Marshes.

Bedroom two has a king size double bed, an ensuite bathroom with shower and views over the large rear garden

Bedrooms three and four each have two single beds and share a large family bathroom.

There is wi-fi throughout the house.

Annexe

The Annexe is at the rear of the garden, and can be used to accommodate two additional people, either as extra space or for those who require a separate space from the main house. It has a sitting area, a bedroom with a king size double bed, a loo and sink.  The Annexe does not have a shower or bath and, other than tea and coffee making facilities, no kitchen.  It is therefore only suitable for a booking in conjunction with the main house.

The Pond

Please be aware that there is a pond at the rear of the garden so small children should not be left unsupervised in this area.

Steps 

Please note there are steps to access the front door of the house and there are steps between some rooms in the house.  Note also that the main staircase is a little steep
